Rules: Post the last lines from the last 10 'fics you published on AO3. I'll be limiting this to the actual 'fics, not the meta essays.
1. Live Life As It Happens (WIP)
The last thing he remembered was someone calling his name as he fell.
2. All Those Miles Behind Us
The snow kept piling up aside, but it was of no concern as Billy and Goodnight fanned their memories out in the light of their single lantern, deciding which ones to share and which were to be kept for their pleasure alone.
3. Death's Lover Went Riding (WIP)
He steps through the shattered front door of the hotel and onto the street. The sun’s going down, but there’s still enough light to get him out of Rose Creek.
4. There Are None So Blind...
“We’ll think it over.” Billy groped for Goodnight’s hand again. “I’m happy where I am right now.”
5. Drown Out The Storm
It’s foolishness enough to laugh at, weak and quiet, but, pressed close as they are, it drowns out the storm.
6. War Spoils
They, like the Palace, belonged to the trolls now.
7. Knife Lessons
But somehow, Goodnight doubted it.
8. Hard Way Home (abandoned)
The doors shut behind him. (Not the last line of the work, but probably the last one I actually wrote.)
9. Too Well Read
"You know, there is such a thing as being too well read, Kyle."
10. First Date
"Wait and see about the verdict on that second date first."
