GI Joe: A Real American Hero v. 12 by Larry Hama and SL Gallant

Storm Shadow’s auntie, Obake Obaasan. She's a complete badass, and I love her.

Hama created her for the Devil's Due Storm Shadow series, but when the publisher went bust and IDW acquired the license, the series was declared non-canon. Hama wasn't about to let a little thing like canon compliance make him give up an awesome character, so he retroactively integrated her into the "Real American Hero" canon.
